Our sweet Rycraft Garden Bouquet Pot Saver is a 2” white clay disc with an embossed design. Back a couple of generations ago, our grandparents didn’t have any bells and whistles on their stoves. If they were especially busy, they’d drop a coin into a pot when they put it on the stove to boil. When the pot began to boil the coin would rattle, letting them know it was time to reduce the heat before anything boiled over. And the same noise would happen if the pot started to run dry, so they could add more water before something burned. This Pot Saver does the same thing for a batch of potatoes, pasta or anything cooked in water and is so much more fun to use!
